How we research and check our guides
Primary 1 is a 'your money or your life' topic, it affects your child's education and your family's finances. Here's the standard we hold ourselves to.
Last reviewed against official sources: 29 June 2026
Our sources
Every factual claim about registration phases, dates, balloting, fees and subsidies is drawn from official Singapore government sources, primarily the Ministry of Education (moe.gov.sg), and where relevant MSF/ECDA. We link the source next to the claim so you can verify it directly.
How we handle figures that change
Some of the most-searched details, exact Phase 2A/2B/2C dates, current school fees, assistance thresholds, are revised by MOE and MSF each cycle and are sometimes published as images or interactive checkers. For these, we deliberately link the live official source rather than hard-coding a number that could go out of date. Where we show a figure for orientation, we date it and label it clearly.
Dating and review
Each guide shows when it was last reviewed against official sources. We aim to re-check time-sensitive content at least once per registration cycle, and sooner when MOE announces changes.
Use of AI tools
We use AI tools to help draft and structure content, but every guide is reviewed by a human against primary sources before publishing. We do not publish unedited, auto-generated content, and we do not present AI-generated text as expert advice.
Corrections
If you spot an error or something out of date, please tell us. We check reported issues against the official source and correct confirmed errors promptly, updating the review date on the page.
Independence
P1 Parents SG is independent and not affiliated with the Ministry of Education. Our guides are informational and do not replace official MOE guidance, for any decision, confirm the details on moe.gov.sg.
