Former GEP centre; new national high-ability approach from Primary 4

What Catholic High School (Primary) is known for

Bilingual and bicultural SAP education. As one of Singapore's Special Assistance Plan schools, it puts a strong emphasis on Chinese language and culture alongside English, so boys grow up genuinely effective in both languages.

A history with high-ability learners. The school was one of the primary schools that ran the Gifted Education Programme, which is being replaced nationally by a new approach to high-ability learning that identifies and stretches stronger pupils from Primary 4.

Applied learning in STEM plus a signature Wushu module. Its Applied Learning Programme uses coding to tackle real world sustainability problems, and every Primary 1 boy is introduced to Wushu during PE lessons.

Teaching identity
SAP, autonomous government-aided, all boys.
High-ability learners
